Native American and First Nation tradition is full of horrific and merciless creatures. From the bizarre Flying Head of the Iroquois to the Stoneclad of the Cherokee and Tsiatko of the Chehalis, they run the gambit from the whimsical and odd to the downright terrifying.
The infamous Wendigo is definitely one of the most fear inspiring and bloodcurdling of them all, a relentless hunter who will stop at nothing to devour any human unlucky enough to fall in its path, add to that the fact that it makes it home in the frozen and barren north and you can see why this tradition has lasted until this very day.
